Neal Doolin was born and raised in Shawnee, Kansas. He attended high school at Shawnee Mission Northwest High and graduated in 2009 with a weighted GPA of 4.4, as a member of National Honor Society, and having lettered in academics twice and theater three times.
Neal graduated from the University of Kansas in the Spring of 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He is certified for both secondary Mathematics and Physics in the state of Kansas.
During the Spring and Summer semesters of 2012, Neal worked with Dr. Dave Besson on two of KU's astro-particle physics ventures, ANITA and ARA, where his duties involved elementary data analysis and instrumentation design. His spring research led to being credited as a contributor on Dr. Besson's recent manuscript, linked on the Physics Work page.
Neal taught Math 002 (Intermediate Algebra) and tutored Math 101 (College Algebra) for the University of Kansas / Kansas Algebra Program during the Fall semester of 2011.
Neal is currently employed at Blue Valley Southwest High. He teaches Algebra 2, Advanced (College) Algebra, and Physics.
